Nicole, Eugene & Millar’s Harpers Homestead Wedding

Nicole once joked she might never get married - despite running an Excel spreadsheet for her big day since she was 13. Then came Eugene, a fateful first date at The Pomeroy (and more than a little red wine), and she knew she’d found the one. From there it was late-night laughs, never spending a night apart, and eventually the arrival of little Millar.

Their day at Harpers Homestead was filled with laughter, heartfelt words, and promises to “always choose each other.” Having Millar there made it even more special - from watching Mum get ready, to stealing cuddles during the vows, to joining the dance floor later (and nearly upstaging Dad’s much-anticipated Dad moves). He was part of every moment, the little thread that tied the day together.

David Steele led the ceremony with warmth and humour, while Sophie Isabella captured every tear, smile, and off-the-cuff joke. The stunning blooms by Bourbon Rose set the scene, while Nicole’s look came together with hair by Golden Studios – Monique Cadigan, makeup by Pearl Babbington, and a gown from Lulu Jackson Bridal. Rings from Partridge Jewellers sealed the deal, and guests tucked into a feast by Crisp & Vale before enjoying a sweet finish from Amateur Cake Mum.

With Jason & David as MCs, live tunes from Nick & Dan, and even guest-cam cameos by Luke & Cat, the celebration was as fun as it was heartfelt - a day that truly felt, in Eugene’s words, “complete and satisfied.”
