Some weddings feel less like an event and more like a big family reunion you wish would never end. Lauren & Johnny’s day at Glenfalloch Gardens was exactly that - a heartfelt, laughter-filled gathering for the ages!

Lauren, our London bride, brought her closest people halfway around the world to Johnny’s hometown of Dunedin. Under the shade of Glenfalloch’s ancient trees, vows were promised, tears were shed (mostly happy ones!), and two families - Sandra & Jim’s crew from the UK, and Janet & Ian’s Dunedin whānau - officially became one.

Music, of course, was the heartbeat of it all. From the elegant notes of the Dunedin String Quartet during the ceremony to Alan Ned Gray’s band that turned the dance floor into an all-night celebration, there was never a quiet moment - just how Lauren & Johnny love it. Oh and did I mention Johnny’s wee solo? Just unreal all around.

Their MC, Callum, made sure no speech went off the rails (well, mostly), while Sinead McGivern captured the stills as we rolled the cameras to catch every teary smile, every bear hug, and every dance move questionable enough to make the final cut.

For Lauren & Johnny, this film is more than just a wedding video - it’s a time capsule of a day when two worlds met in a garden by the Otago harbour and partied as if they’d always known each other.

We couldn’t be more stoked to have been there. Here’s to you both, your next adventure together in London, and this little slice of Dunedin you can carry with you always.
