Emily & Bradley – Hanmer Roots and a Proper Good Time!

Amuri Estate Wedding

Fresh off a trip around Europe where they got engaged, they were straight into planning a day that felt like them - social, relaxed and centred around the people they love most. They both love travel, running, and a good time, so it made sense their wedding would carry the same energy.

With strong family ties to Hanmer Springs, Amuri Estate was the obvious fit. A beautiful setting, mountain air, and enough space to bring heaps of their favourite people together for one very memorable day.

The morning began across two worlds.

Emily and the girls settled in at the family bach, where the hours always seem to move faster than expected. Hair by Lauren Maynard, makeup by Stacey Banfield, florals by Kate Hibbert, and a stunning gown by Alyssa Kristin from Paperswan Bride all came together as the morning unfolded.

Meanwhile Bradley and the boys kept themselves occupied with a morning game of Kubb - exactly the kind of detail that makes a wedding day feel real rather than staged.

Then came the ceremony.

Led by Phoebe Voice, it was heartfelt, warm, and full of emotion. There was joy everywhere, but also the quiet weight of those missed deeply. Emily’s mum was never far from anyone’s thoughts, and days like this have a way of holding both happiness and remembrance at the same time.

Afterwards, guests rolled into the reception where the atmosphere lifted another notch. But before the party truly kicked off, they headed out for an incredible shoot against the rugged mountain backdrop, with a little help from Lindo Lang and his trusty Land Cruiser!

Great food from Country Feasts, speeches that landed exactly where they should, and the kind of room buzz you can’t manufacture. Friends from different chapters of life, family from near and far, grandparents proudly watching it all unfold.

And then, as all good weddings should, it tipped into party mode.

The dancefloor filled quickly and stayed that way.

Somewhere amongst it all, the retro camcorder made its rounds with Cal and Andrew behind the controls - collecting the loose, funny, unfiltered moments that couples always end up loving most years later.

Captured alongside Emily Hugo, this was a wedding built on connection, personality, and a couple who made the whole day feel effortless.

Emily and Bradley - what a place, what a crew, what a day!
